Enjoy and cherish what you have now, kids. Those in secondary school, especially Cedarians, live each day like there is no tomorrow. Because once your post-secondary education starts, be it in a JC or poly or ITE, the entire world is going to surge forward, leaving you helplessly behind. Every single day of your life is just going to be a new chapter of drama and you will go to bed every night hoping that you don't wake up tomorrow. You'll be suffocated and you'll start feeling lost and you'll start realizing that you have no one to trust. As each day pass, I realize more and more how much I miss my Cedar friends and I pray, pray with all my heart, for God to bring me back to my Cedar days where our problems were insignificant and small as compared to those that we are facing now. Go back to the place where you could truly feel like as if you belonged somewhere. That everyone accepted you for who you are. Where nobody judged. Where nobody lied. But now, I fake my smile and laughter so often, even I'm starting to fall for my own pretense. The worst part of it all? I'm starting to change into the person I least expected myself to be.

I got back my CA results last week...

Did you know that even if you get straight As for all your subjects but got a U for GP, you'll still get retained? Hahahahahah so if I do get promoted by the end of the year, someone should totally reward me with a Ferrari.

& yes, I am very disappointed with my results and have resolved to work much harder so that I can succeed in life and become a famous paleontologist (Google it) in the future and hence, I've been going for CJ's Night Study programme. But it's not as fun if your friends won't be there right? So I invited Eliqah + Kimbo to crash CJ on Thursday!!!!! & it was so fun b/c we got chased out of the canteen and we had to sneak around the dark school like ninja unicorns. I've missed my bbs :'(

Watched Thor & Fast and Furious 5 with Ahmad in the last 2 days and they're both fucking awesome! :> I personally think that Fast&Furious > Thor simply b/c there's more hot girls. Oh btw, go catch the movies at Shaw Lido, even though I'm sad that they banished all the food places when they revamped it, but the cinemas are damn good now! Got back from my ODAC expedition last night and even though it was beyond hxc, I had alot of fun! I realized that I am very lucky as not everyone can go climbing mountains, bathe in waterfalls, watch the sunrise on the summits of mountains or experience trekking the forests of Singapore. The best part was, I got to lose 3kg out of it! :> School's starting in about 5 hours and I barely finished my holiday homework but it's okay b/c "Homework is for ugly girls" hahahaha. I missed my family and friends like crazy while I was away and I'm so glad to know that I was missed too :') But CJC ODAC seriously underfed me man, not unexpected that all the mud puddles that I passed looked like Koi milk tea to me.

Today, Keith the MaoGao Priest told me a piece of news that made me very sad. But I am also v proud of my MaoGao. He was the one who introduced me Chris Medina's What Are Words and now I can't stop playing it.

I felt like killing them for leaving me all alone at The Hill busstop at midnight when there could be rapists and clowns (two biggest phobias kns) roaming around. Had dinner with my Exclusive Sleepover Club, Lee, Nat Wong, Clara & Yunz in town and I've missed them so much!

Check out the tetanus jab I got yesterday. It hurt like a bitch.

Had Macs at 4am with Kimbo & Shar and we all fell asleep listening to The Beatles. Lesson learnt : Be who you truly are all the time b/c those who care don't matter, and those who matter, don't care.

But I love how you can just crash your friend's house on a random Tuesday and go swimming in your PE attire and the fact that CJ is a few bus stops away from town means that you can lepak there till nighttime on a random Thursday and then you'll go like "SHIT! I was beyond happy yesterday and I went for my very first official ODAC training and we learnt how to pitch and un-pitch a tent under ten minutes and it's like a very hxc version of girl guides (just that we don't sell guides cookies) and it was damn fun. Suck on that, Track and Field! >:)

& JC life made me realize that everyone has their own lives to lead and they have their own set of friends and things to do and their own happy memories to create, yet everyone else's lives fit perfectly to yours. Even though JC life has made me miss my friends like crazy, I'm so glad that it has made me more mature in the process.

On a very very VERY sad note, my BB's busted and I have no idea how :'( And I've had about 3 weeks of Maths lesson, and the only thing that I know how to do with my graphic calculator is this :

THINGS I MISS ABOUT BEING IN AN ALL-GIRLS' SCHOOL

You can't scream "Who got pad?" in class anymore.
You can't come to school looking like crap and expect not to be judged.
You can't strip in class after PE or jogging sessions.
You can't laugh loudly in the canteen without everyone staring at you.
You can't lift up your legs onto the chair to tie your shoelace anymore.
You have to sit properly all the time.
You have a higher chance of entering the wrong toilet now than you did in a girls' school.
You can't adjust your bra/ bra straps at anywhere and at anytime anymore.
You can't whack each other's boobs anymore.
The two-ply toilet paper. I know this applies for every other school and not just girls' schools, but CJ's one-ply toilet paper annoys me to no end and I just wanted everyone to know.

Things that made me sad this week : I didn't get into ODAC. I bet it was because I failed my Knowledge Test. (I got -14 and a 1/2 marks haha) But I'm so used to disappointment that I've grown completely numb to it. But it's okay, I'll study very hard for my Knowledge Test re-test on Monday + second trials and pray very hard that I'll get in. Fate isn't sealed until you've stopped trying.

Things that made me happy this week : CJ's Rockafella was last night and even though we couldn't mosh, it was still pretty awesome and everyone had alot of fun. Post-Rockafella plans were beyond hectic and random "Want to go Toa Payoh?....No la we go Newton eat....Go Orchard play pool la!....Far East Plaza okay?" all these within the span of twenty seconds and I ended up at SCGS' Macs for supper with Sharianty, Sherri, Shawn, Isabel, Debra, Justyn and Desmond where we just talked about everything (Y)

Things that made me happier this week : Woke up late for that Malay dunnowhatshit this morning and I thought it was a complete waste of time but I was so happy to know that out of it, I found out that Farah + Ahmad Kamal lives 5 minutes away from me. And I brought them to the 30th storey of my block and we experimented how long it would take our spit to reach the ground from there. And then they met my Mum (so that's How They Met My Mother hahahaha)

Since when was there a rule that states that you HAVE to join your secondary school CCA in JC, just because you were good at it? Since when did coming into a JC without a DSA or an appeal, equals to the school choosing the CCA for you that they feel would benefit them? What ever happened to free rights and freedom of speech? Is it because I'm only seventeen? Is it because you feel that I'm still too young to make wise decisions? Well fuck you, I know what I want. It's either I give my all for something that I'm truly passionate about, or I'll take an entirely different route and go join something slack like fucking strategic games. Sports CCAs take up a hell load of your time anyway, why waste it when I could be studying for A's instead? And why the fuck do I want to run so much for? Does all that muscle ache and pain and exhaustion really do me good? So at 3pm tomorrow, if I don't make it into ODAC, it's just not meant to be and maybe I'd be happier in your so-called "loser" CCA. So listen here Catholic Junior College, as much as I love you, I beg you to please stop hounding me and forcing me into doing something that I really don't want to do. I never thought that the day that I'd actually say this would come, but I have completely lost my passion for Track and Field.

I am also extremely sad right now. I've been so preoccupied with JC life that I haven't had the time to keep updated with Kpop (I think this is actually a good thing) but I just found out that Alex and Kibum are no longer in U-Kiss! :O :O :O I can easily say that U-Kiss is my favourite Kpop band and I honestly can't believe this happened. They're no longer U-Kiss in my eyes anymore and I am so ashamed and disappointed in them. Group members are your friends and you shouldn't ever throw away your friends. No wonder my U-Kiss poster keeps on falling off my bedroom wall lately, it's like an omen! :'(

Hi gaiz it's 11:54 pm now and I really really want to sleep but I can't because I got caught by the PE Dept for my hair and so I am dye-ing back my hair now and my eyes are really puny as I'm typing this but I still have 20 more minutes before I can wash my hair and I am so v tired b/c I woke up at 5am this morning to run 15 rounds for ODAC. And while other typical JC students were doing their Econs homework or tucking into bed early to prepare for school the next day this fine Monday night, I went to watch The Rite with Sharianty, Sherri and Keith the Mao Gao instead. It was so scary I cannot tank sigh 17 more minutes before I can wash off my hair zzzz oh Keith wants to be a priest when he grows up but he looks like a beng, how funny is that! Okay I am going to wash my hair now because I cannot take it anymore wow what happened to "Sleep is for the weak", Syu? Celebrating Vday in CJ is nothing compared to celebrating Vday in Cedar. Like in Cedar, you would go home with 3 bags full of goodies and presents and you would spend recess running around the classroom blocks exchanging gifts and giving hugs, instead of sitting down in the canteen and actually eating. It's days like these that make me miss being in an all-girls school.

This week, I donated blood during the CJ Blood Donation Drive and I found out that I actually have a huge ass phobia of concentrated blood. I nearly fainted and it was damn embarrassing okay. And if throughout your entire existence you thought that blood was red, you are wrong my friend. Blood is one fucking ugly shade of black.

But hey I'm really glad that out of the 450ml of blood that I donated, I managed to save 3 lives :>

This week, ODAC made us do sit-ups and push-ups in the mud, they throw eggs and flour and detergent at us while we were climbing up the hill, they made us sing the school song in the canal drain. It was beyond gross and dirty, but one helluva fun (Y) If ODAC doesn't take me, I swear I will throw a hissy fit and join Strategic Games :'(

But this week, I also found out two things that made me the most depressed and also the most enlightened person in CJ. All I can say is, CJC ODAC, I hate being lied to. I can fucking see through it so drop the act, yes?

What you have missed in my insignificant life

I've been training with ODAC and they make you run like as if they're preparing you for war like that.
I'm in 1T04 which has some of the awesomest people I have ever met.
& we officially have the hottest girl on campus in my class. ~~(But she makes our resident slut look like a nun)~~
During dragon-boating the other day, Keith (the swimmer) made us jump into the river and Shar, Isabel, Divyaa and I (the people who can't swim to save their lives) nearly drowned, thus proving that the life vests are useless.
I don't really know how to wear my CJ uniform, so I'm wearing it Cedar style. The high waisted skirt makes me look like a minah anyway.
Out of boredness, I cut 5 inches of my hair myself.
It feels weird doing homework again.
The other day, I got caught by both the dean AND the principal for my attire. For my dyed hair, multiple earrings, wrongly coloured shoes and for not wearing socks (they didn't match my shoes la). Damn suay right.
I feel very accomplished. Yesterday, I found the infamous Staircase 6 in CJ. What's Staircase 6? During the times where CJ's abortion rate was the highest, the students apparently had sex there, the most redundant, isolated and dark staircase in the school. (Okay, all the pregnancy/abortion jokes stop here. Only I can insult my school. The rest of you common Muggles shut up.)
They're forcing me to take Track and Field as my second CCA. I did not come in through DSA or appeal, so how unfair is that? I am in dire need to stab someone right now.

Met Atikah and Farhain after school today (school was from 8.45 to 12.30 today, is CJ awesome or what) and I finally got school shoes from Green Poppies @ Haji Lane! I am so happy that it actually matches my uniform hahaha. I really, really love CJ, I honestly have no words to express it. Everyone's main priority is just to have fun and it's getting easier to adapt to the co-ed environment b/c everyone's friendly to everyone! Like if you talk to the random guy sitting next to you, he won't shun you or stare at you, he'll actually bother having a conversation with you. Not to mention everyone is just freakin' hilarious.

The few days of orientation had been so dope, I can't remember the last time I had that much fun with a bunch of random people. From the water games, to the telematch, to finale, to the impromptu club session and especially our mass dance! And oh, something damn funny happened that resulted me with a scraped knee and a flower-shaped blue black bruise on it. Aakash, Nicholas and I were chasing our OGL who just dumped a huge pail of water on us and so the 3 of us gave chase to her but we forgot that we were wet and slippery and Nic slipped and fell and he was bleeding and all. Aakash and I couldn't help laughing (v mean, I know) and in the middle of me lecturing Nic saying stuff like "You choir boy, cannot run next time don't run...", Aakash dumped more water on ME and so I, still forgetting I was wet and slippery, ran after him and slipped and fell on the gravel courtyard. The best part? Aakash fell down in the midst of laughing at me. The other best part? The rest of the J1s saw everything and Ani came over and tau pok me while I was on the floor and Michelle dumped more water on me. The end.

Oh, but every pro must have its con right? The one thing that annoys me the most about CJ is that, the girls are all anorexic skinny bitches. I cannot stand how they eat one-eight of their palm-sized pizza and tell me they're fucking full while I just spent 5 bucks on canteen food. Life is short, EAT, YOU DUMB BITCHES!!!! They make me feel damn fat la plz. And what's with the straightness? My school is infested with IJ girls yet they're so straight, they make a chopstick look all bendy. This annoys me (and Lee and Shar) v v much :(

No seriously, fuck you RJ. I've wasted so many tears on you, it's amazing that I still have water left in my body. You know what, my friends are right. Maybe it's just not meant to be and God has got bigger plans for me. This is the third time I've been denied the chance to enter RJ, God must be telling me something right? It's really not worth going to school with ugly puffy eyes from all that crying. Like Tiffany said, I can be the big fish in the small pond. I can't believe it took me this long to realize how masochistic I am. Why does my passion have to be one that has hurt me physically and emotionally countless times before? Track and Field, you are one selfish sport.

Which is why I have decided to drop Track completely and join CJC's ODAC. I am not even joking, here. I am done competing in the same domain that I have been in for the past 9 years. I am fucking sick of going through the same routine and seeing the same few faces every year. Fuck RJ, I am so totally loving CJ man. I had so much fun today and I know that I can fit in and survive b/c everyone there is just like me! Their personality types, their sense of humour, the way they carry themselves and they way they just love to have fun. I made many more new friends today and the OGLs are frickin' funny but yknow I couldn't laugh as loudly as how I would have done in Cedar b/c everyone would just stare at me like I'm deranged and then I would long for 4S to be there to laugh loudly with me...BUT I can laugh as loudly as I want as of now BECAUSE LIYIN YEO IS OFFICIALLY A CJ GIRL NOW!!!!! I AM BEYOND HAPPY!!! :>

I know JC's gonna take some getting use to but I hope all my friends are having as much fun in their JCs as I am! But srsly, Shar, Ani and I have to constantly remind ourselves that 'We're no longer in Cedar' and we can't scream and dance in the canteen anymore, or lift our legs up to tie our shoelaces or whack each other's boobs because we are always in the presence of guys. And after school today, Ani + Shar + I decided to change into our CJ shirts (b/c we are unloyal to Cedar like that) and we were walking to TPY interchange @ 8pm and we were making super alot of noise and acting all retarded when suddenly we saw this huge group in front of us AND IT WAS ALL OUR OGLs!!! We were wearing our CJ shirt so fuck our lives right and I was the one walking in front and Ani + Shar being the awesome friends they are right, decided to run away without telling me. Until all the OGLs noticed me then I decided to turn and scream, "Am I supposed to run away?" and then we all ran away like nooby chickens :(

And omg yknow the guy in my school with the nicest swishy hair on Earth? Well yeah, that bastard child went to cut his hair and now it's not swishy and soft anymore. I was seriously v heartbroken this morning okay :'( But it's alright because I have learnt to move on and now I've got this OGL as a replacement eyecandy b/c he's srsly damn cute and funny. I really love CJ's school anthem, it's really catchy. It's one of the many things that I love about CJ. I had a blast at orientation today b/c my OG is damn fun!!! (Unlike Ani's OG who are all damn kental and she had to make friends with mats instead) and I made lots of new friends like Kimberly and Clara (not as hot as Clara Poon or Kimbo) and Nicholas Joseph Ow from Cat High and Aakash from Barker. His name is pronounced as Ah-Cash and he said that his nigga rapper name is Double-A-$. Do you get it? He must have gotten his inspiration from Ke$ha or something. And he's really damn funny b/c when he first saw our OG, he looked around and said "I'M THE ONLY INDIAN HERE!" hahahaha.

And during icebreakers we were playing Blow Wind, Blow and our OGL said "Blow wind blow all those who have Facebook" and so I ran damn hard towards this China scholar from VS but he refused to budge and I was like "Why aren't you moving? What! You don't have Facebook? Which rock have you been living under? Seriously? Cannot be la...Move leh... " and I spent like one minute screaming incredulously in his face about how he needs to keep up with technology and I kind of forgot that he was from China so he most probably didn't understand half of what I was yelling at him lolz. Was really happy during training yesterday b/c I found out that I've still got 'it' for my high jump. After an 11-month hiatus, I was beyond glad to know that I do not have to start from scratch b/c my arch and my technique have never left me -cue happy dance- Anyway, went to pig out at Swensen's Ice Cream buffet with Nat and Sarah R Stanley after that! :> I seriously think it's damn worth it b/c you can go for as many rounds of ice cream as you want, there's like endless choices of cakes, cookies, fruits and toppings and there's waffles and pancakes and the mix-in thingy and unlimited supply of whipped cream and there's no time limit, don't you get virtual satisfaction just from reading this? GO AND TRY IT. Sat in there for 3 hours talking about the most retarded things ever and laughing until our abs (literally) hurt and we thought we were gonna upchuck everything we just ate.

(How come we spent 3 hours in there and didn't take a single picture of us?) About half of th empty plates were mine. I ate the most but must make sure that I ate to my money's worth right! I bet if Lee were with us, this whole picture would be HALF of everything she ate in total >:) Oh, Sarah and Nat have deduced the fact that I can't go for dinner dates with guys b/c I'm one serious messy eater what with my food flying everywhere and chocolate sauce dripping down my shirt but OH LOOK at the plate with the banana on it, coming from Sarah lil' miss clean perfect eater, huh that gray slob was once a perfectly good cheesecake okay. Gross man. And yknow Nat and I felt super guilty for bringing Sarah out on a Wednesday b/c she had school the next day (her O Level year somemore). She should be at home studying instead of following her seniors into Pull and Bear and Bershka. We're seriously like vacuums sia, we have no school :(

On the flipside of things, I really wished my parents would stop treating me like a little kid. Despite me turning seventeen in a few days time, they still don't perceive me as being mature enough to control my own life. Blogger is way too public for my emo rants so yes, thank you LJ.

Like how Tammie, Anisiah and I would always go over to her house every week to play Metal Slug/ House of Dead/ Silent Hill/ WWE on her PS2 and we would always attempt to bake cookies but they always fail & when we actually did try to throw the cookies against the wall, they didn't break. And there was one time Ariel, Tammie, Zhi Xuan, Lena, Anisiah and I played water at her front porch and we were screaming and flooding the whole street and didn't stop until the neighbours yelled at us. Dayum, how I wish I had a blog in Sec 1/2 so that I can re-read it now and reminisce all those epic times and laugh at how noob and innocent we all were last time.

Went for my first training yesterday since Feb 2010. That's almost a year now. No matter what will come out of it, I'm really glad that I'm running and jumping and laughing again. I love my body the most when I'm training. Plus, Nat Wong (Ninja) came down to accompany me and only with her can two hours feel like two minutes :> Sat in the middle of some ulu space in PP eating Tau Huay under the stars after training and ninja-ed our way up all the way to the top of the spider web. We're 17, mind you. But I guess only with my Ninja Percy can I still do immature stuff like running in front of the toilet mirror just to see our abs (Y)

I believe that everyone's life is like a Sine Graph. You have troughs (lowest point) and crests (highest point) and you are like the particle yknow, so everyone goes through the same feeling, just different situations. I'm so glad that the the choices and decisions and actions that I make are finally making me happy. & since we are on the topic of graphs, I just want to say that I have never liked the Cosine Graph b/c it looks like a vijayjay to me.

I think it's time I told my story.

It's like a template dream for every Cedar Jumper to get into RJ, b/c of our coach, our seniors etc etc. At least that's how I see it. And that's how I feel. I had always dreamed of going into RJ when I hear amazing stories about it from my coach and Jumps seniors. & after training at the campus a couple of times, I fell in love with it. Plus, it's the top institution in Singapore. Not much to hate, is there?

I spent over a year working hard and setting my goals towards RJ. I had no back up plans. About a year ago if you asked me which JC I wanted to go to, I'll say "RJ." "...and?" "Only RJ." I wanted to do whatever it takes to get in there. In Feb 2010, I had a knee injury which denied me from competing in Nationals. That was a real big blow to me b/c it foiled alot of opportunities for me such as a medal, recognition, scholarships, edusave and most importantly, my DSA into RJ. I mean, why would they accept someone who's capabilities they do not know of? I got rejected and it still bums me till today.

My seniors and friends advised me to try sports appealing into RJ. However, they said in order to make my appeal more solid, I need to get a single digit raw score for them to take me in. I knew that 6 points was impossible for me, b/c even I knew my limits. All I aimed for was a single digit. Not even the best single digit. Just a single digit. My room is like a closet shrine for RJ. I wake up every morning to see RJ's school motto and crest pasted on my wall and just like how propaganda works, it kind of got induced in me. Live, breathe, think RJ.

All my friends, especially those who got worse than me for O's, don't understand why I was so upset with my results when it's actually not that bad. You tell me, when the faith, belief and hard work that I've put in for more than a year doesn't reflect in my results, how can you expect me not to be? It's not about the results. It's about everything that leads up to it. And at the end of it, I'm only so close to achieving it yet so far. I was really v depressed as I didn't think of a back up plan and I felt pretty lost when I realized that the only plan I had backfired.

& the worst part of it, my friends might even think I'm selfish cause I didn't spare a thought for them when they're disappointed & depressed as well and they think I'm just being arrogant b/c they got worse than me. I'm sorry but the first time I got denied of living my dream, it took me about 6 months before I got over it. And now that it happened AGAIN, even now as I'm typing this, I have no idea how long it'll take me before I'll actually snap out of it.

Everyone has their own stories to tell. And this is mine.

I have finally come to terms with my results and hey I guess I kind of forgot that I'm Syu. I'm not some mopey shit ass give-upper, I'm a fighter. Depression, tsk it does these kind of things to you. Oh, an I only finally opened up my JAE Form A today and I was pleasantly surprised :> Anyway, I surprise even myself sometimes (It's an Aquarius trait) & I think I want to go to Catholic JC. I know, I used to make fun of it all the time, saying stuff like how I'm going to be Seventeen & Pregnant if I go there and all that, but I really liked it when I went for their open house with Lee and Leena yesterday. My brother gave me some good advice the other day and Imma share it with you, "When you go to a school, you have got to feel the vibe before you know that you can survive in there" and CJ, holla I totally felt you. But you all know which school has the Number #1 spot in my heart, right?

When your teachers convince you to drop your sciences so that you can get an A1 for Combined Science, they're lying.

Got home from 4S class chalet today after having the entire SCDF training centre for 3 days 2 nights and even though things didn't go exactly as planned, it was definitely a great distraction ♥

We watched Gulliver's Travels at midnight and caused a riot in the arcade...

We had our BBQ and our food was awesome and even our teachers came...

No matter how many times 2010 has made my cry and cuss in frustration, I will never regret most of the things I did this year as it only made me realize who my true friends are and it only made me stronger. So thank you 2010, for being one helluva year.

Can't believe that Christmas is over. And mine was pretty epic. How was yours? I had to work yesterday which was one of the most bleugh feeling ever but at last almost all my colleagues were working and I get paid $12 an hour. Plus, Burberry MBS hit an all time high record sales of 48K and I got paid extra for overtime. Seriously there were too many people everywhere and we even had to close one side of the shop door to 'crowd control'. But after I clocked off at 11pm, that was when the epicness started happening. I have a work friend called Bertram. He's 17 an he's a beng with piercings and tattoos an he has a gang. But he's really nice b/c he treated me Cold Rock after work. Plus, he lives near me so we take the same bus home together. By the time we boarded our bus it was already midnight. Guess what, we only realized that we were on the wrong bus only when it has reached it's last stop at Kallang, instead of Woodlands. AND we were on the last bus which means there was no bus home. We were about to cab but the bus uncle was like 'Oh this bus' depot is at Woodlands, come I send you home'. So there we were in the dark, empty bus alone at 1am laughing at our own fate and misery and through this all, I found out something mindblowing.

Spent my off day with Eliqah yesterday (one of the many friends I have missed) and it was seriously pretty epic b/c somehow the day ended with her banging against Seoul Garden's back window and suffering the humiliation of the century. I realized that my friends have the tendency to run up against glass panels whenever they're around me. Like that time we were studying at airport's staff canteen and Sharianty ran straight into the glass window and bounced back. Tsk tsk so shameless. But yknow, Eli and I were talking about the ever-nearing 10 Jan and how our results might not be as wonderful as we expect it to be. Day by day, I keep on thinking of how badly I did for A Maths and History and how I might actually end up with 17 points instead of my expected 7. B/c everything happens for a reason right? But sometimes we forget that there's a higher power above us all that can change our course of fate within a second.

Coincidentally, the song that keeps on laying in my head repetitively for the past few days is Haru Haru by Big Bang, which actually means Day by Day. This has got to be the 1263874th time I've watched the MV and I cry every single time. You guys are all SS students, go and infer yourself. If you watched it and you don't cry, you are a grey rock with no feelings >:(

Lee's flying off to see hot California Gurls today that lucky duck but I really think Imma miss her. Plus Nat's in Israel doing God know's what (fighting war I think) and if they are the true friends they are, the would get me a hot Cali girl and an army tank respectively.

I realized that I didn't take alot of photos during prom. Not on my camera nor on anyone else's. Not pretty enough to be captured hahahaha. Prom was relatively okay even if I was damn tired b/c I rushed straight from work and chose to hide instead of joining my friends dancing in the hall. The stupid scotchtape refused to stick onto my bra when I wanted it to and I busted my heel halfway while catwalking but the food was good and I'm glad my friends enjoyed their night :)

So, what have you missed? (Nothing much actually, but I just needed a reason to blog)

1) Hi friends, in case you've been too ignorant, I would just like to inform you that I am currently working. At Burberry Marina Bay Sands. The place is too posh for me, sometimes I wonder how I even landed the job. The only things that make my job bearable are The XX on repeat over the stereos, the cool walkie-talkies & my fucken hilarious co-workers. So be a dear now will you, and come visit me at my workplace. And oh bring some cash, say about 1000 bucks or so?

2) On Sunday, I touched a 1000 dollar note for the first time in my entire sixteen years of existence. The feeling was so surreal. Like as if I just touched a unicorn or something like that.

3) I think my phone's been struck by some unknown virus cause for the past one week or so, my phone's wallpaper looks like this....

Like all the crazy dance practices I have with my class, getting our nails done and going bra shopping just like how we did today! I guess the only thing making me excited for prom is the awesome menu and the prospect of it being another great excuse for me to party my sorrow away. Pee-ass : My prom dress makes me look fat :(

So, I went for MNet's kpop concert yesterday. It was beyond awesome and I'm having one major Kpop hangover today. Yesterday taught me alot of things too, it was one rollercoaster ride of a day and I'm really glad that karma decided to go in my favour.

(For Kpop fans only. If you don't like Kpop, don't bother reading this blog post.)

My day started off at 4am. Was supposed to meet Zu, Eli, Hanis and Syahirah at Promenade station at 6am so that we can queue for the blue & yellow priority tags at MBS. But me, living in the most ulu and inaccessible place in Singapore, and Eli, who can sleep through a hurricane outside her window, were late and only reached there at around 7++ am. By then Zu, Hanis and Syah were already at the front of the crowd and it was a complete riot. There were screaming and pushing and people fell and guards had to be called in but hey at least I found Tiffany Ann and her cousin in all that madness ;) But yes Zu, Syah and Hanis were the lucky ones and got the tags (which means they have priority viewing space and they don't have to queue as early) while the rest of us weren't so lucky as by 8++, all 1000 blue and yellow tags have been given away. But we got the white tags though, which means our view space is better than those who didn't bother coming at 7am and have no tags at all. But still, it was quite depressing.

So all of those who came early were told to leave first and only start queueing at 1.30pm but me and Eli felt that it was stupid and impractical as the concert only started at 6pm. Do I look like I would be happy rotting there for 5 hours with no form of entertainment whatsoever? No. So Eli and I were taking our own sweet time having our Korean lunch and when 1.30 came, Zu, Syah, Hanis, Tiffy and her cousin were already queuing there while me and Eli were at Eli's house slacking. And guess what, we checked Twitter and saw that Beast was arriving at the airport anytime soon so yes, thank God Eli lives like 10 minutes away from the airport so we rushed there. & we were glad that there was v little people there as most of them would be queuing at MBS and the only ones who were there primary school kids who couldn't afford concert tix whom we towered over. AND WE SAW BEAST UPCLOSE omg they are freaking perfect, my Hyunseung is so pretty I can die. So I guess karma's nice to us today, since we couldn't get the tags, at least we saw them at the airport (Y)

Travelled to MBS again and by the time we reached at 4.30pm, the place was packed ttm with fans and me and Eli just strode in like 'Wow hi gaiz we don't give a shit if you're first in line cos we saw Beast at airport ha-ha' but Tiffy was so nice she let us jump her queue by two rows and I was so scared having to sneak in my huge camera but I succeeded heh heh >:) The best part was, when we entered, we just ran all the way into the yellow tag pent and the security guard didn't even stop us so we were freaking close to the stage even though we came from all the way behind!!!! KARMA, BABY!!! And you know Eli and I are very pro at jostling and pushing people strategically that we managed to squeeze through the throngs of people until we were really front and at the blue tag pent!!! And when the concert started, I could see every single one of their faces clearly, every inch of perfection of their faces and I swear I thought my life was complete (Y) Yesterday was so fucking perfect I'm still wondering if it all really happened.

Oh anyway, yesterday showed me the good and ugly Singaporeans. Let's start with the ugly ones. Yknow how Singaporeans are labeled as 'selfish', 'inconsiderate', 'rude' and 'kiasu' right? Well I guess sometimes I am guilty of it but I never really saw it firsthand until yesterday. That bitch was so annoying I wanted to stamp on her foot the whole time during the concert until it's squashed up and all. You know there was so much space in front of her yet she refused to move. When other fans pushed her in front, she threw them nasty looks. I mean, it's a freaking concert if you don't want to get pushed or touched, then watch it at home on your TV la! And the worst part, Eli and I worked damn hard to jostle through the crowd and she's one fucking freeloader she just tagged along, pushing fans out of HER way. And she pushed me until I was about to fall down and die. I think I'm partial claustrophobic and I hyperventilate when people start pushing up on me and all her pushing and shoving made me want to turn around and slap her. Bitch.

But then, I also saw the good and selfless Singaporeans. Maybe Kpop bonded us, or maybe that's just how Singaporeans are, cause random fans around me will ask me whether I'm okay whenever I get pushed or whatsoever. They give me way when I'm squeezing my way through the crowds and they help me find my friends whenever we get separated. One time, there was this girl who was standing in front of me and Tiffany and she lost her phone. Tiff and I tried our best to help her find it, what with Tiff crawling on the floor desperately helping her search her phone while I persistently try calling her number until eventually somebody did pick up the phone. But what moved me the most was not Tiff's efforts trying to help the girl, but the efforts the rest of the random fans surrounding us had put in. They actually stopped in the middle of a 2PM hit song just so they can help find that phone, and you can hear things like 'Somebody has lost her phone, check the floors around you' and 'I'll help you call' and all these are hxc fans of 2PM and they are willing to tear their eyes away their idols on stage just to help someone else in need. So maybe Singaporeans aren't all that 'ugly'. Maybe we're just overly stereotyped.

Pool party at Kimbo's last night. Eli and I were the last to come so by the time we reached there half the people were gone. But that didn't stop us from jumping in the pool and getting caught by manbitches security guards. Twice. And yes, I went into the water when I was having my menses. WATER PRESSURE, PHYSICS HELLO?!?!?!

Anyway, ultimate lepak night we sat and talked about everything and everyone. Yknow, it made me kinda miss Cedar. I realized how much everyone changed. And Lee, Shar, Kimbo, Tian and Eli, whatever we talked about in the sauna, stays in the sauna.

Oh, it's Hari Raya Haji today. I don't feel like going out. I don't feel like doing anything. I just feel like hiding under my blanket and share cookies and secrets with Anna.

Was out of my house from 7.30am to 11.30pm yesterday and I was fucking tired because I spent the whole day jobhunting with Eliqah, Sharianty, Zunairah and Yu Wei. We travelled the whole of Singapore - from Sentosa to town to Plaza Sing to Changi Airport to Tampines and finally to Kimbo's house. My friends all got jobs at Seoul Garden Hotpot but Zunairah's damn epic, less than 2 hours after, she quited. She haven't even started the job -.- Now everyone, please keep your fingers crossed that Universal Studios accept my resume.

& oh, my hair is now purple AND red.

I've been up all night watching Korean dramas and it's 2.46 am now and by simple calculation, I have been awake for about 18 hours now. And I'm not even a tad sleepy! (Y) Anyway, spent the whole day with Eli today (which was freaking retarded because I was scared to climb up her double decker bed) and after which I went to visit my grandmother. She's v sick. And apparently she's been sick for a very long time and has not moved from her bed for the past few days and nobody fucking told me because they said that they didn't want it to affect my O Levels. Screw O Levels la! If anything were to happen to my grandmother without me knowing about it, I'll send Cambridge a personal 'Fuck You'.

Anyway, yknow of the recent 369 slashings in Bukit Panjang right? It has been scaring me shitless, for your info. When I alighted at my busstop just now, I was so scared because it was so dark and scary and nobody was around and I had to climb this hill to get to my house and I was seriously freaking out by then so I ran all the way up the STEEP hill and I was huffing and panting and because it was raining before and my shoe fell into this puddle but I thought I heard footsteps so I continued running up the hill and I was so tired my muscles were aching and I was panting like crazy and it was so tiring AND MY POINT IS......I am very unfit :'( But yes, I am more scared of 369 than ghosts.

Oh btw, Hanan sold her notes to the karang guni man and got 14 bucks. Today, I sold mine and got 50 cents -.- And the ultimate cherry on top? The uncle gave me $1 and demanded for 50 cents change. To the evil karang guni man ---> _l_

My heart pounded rapidly in my chest. I placed my hand over it and ordered my crazy heart to be still.

"Calm down, Syu. Don't be nervous. You've only got one chance and don't you dare blow it."

But who was I kidding? I was excited beyond words! My palms were starting to get sweaty as I felt the adrenaline surge through my veins to all parts of my body. I still couldn't believe my luck. This was just too surreal.

I looked down at the pieces of paper clamped in my left hand. I read through it once more, making sure that I knew what to say when the moment comes. I ensured that the questions that I was going to ask didn't sound stupid.

"You're going in in about two minutes, Syu. Have fun in there!"

I was practicaly hyperventialting at this point, I couldn't believe that this is happening to me. It's really REALLY happening!! After what seemed like forever, the moderator finally opened the door for me to enter.

As I looked through the door, I was frozen with shock and awe. But the warmth that came from the adrenaline rush and excitement quickly engulfed me.

At the opposite side of the door stood Eli, Kevin, Dongho, Kiseop, Kibum, Alex and Soo Hyun, their perfect white teeth grinned into perfect smiles on their perfect faces.

I rushed through the door, greeted them, introduced myself, shook hands with them (OMG I ACTUALLY TOUCHED THEM!!!!), told them that I loved them so very much and quickly launched into the first question of my interview.

I cleared my throat.

"So tell me, why are you guys so perfectly gorgeous?"

A girl can daydream, can't she? I believe that sometimes dreams are the only thing that keeps us alive. But then again, like the saying goes, "Dreams really do come true." I've never really believed in that saying as none of my dreams have ever came true before. But this is the perfect opportunity for me to start believing in it. I am a huge fan of U-Kiss. I fell in love with Kpop because of them. Care to make my dream a reality?

This song was playing in my head throughout the entire Higher Malay exam just now. Plus, I think this is one of the best MVs in the history of best MVs. I mean, it's not everyday you get to see hot gays making out and fireworks spurting out of KP's boobs, right? ;) Speaking of Higher Malay, I just want you to know that I really think that I'm going to fail it. I couldn't understand my own Malay and even wrote a non-Malay word in my MALAY exam. To be honest, even if I get 6 points but I fail my HMT, I might just reconsider going to Poly. I don't want to have to do Malay in JC and flunk it during A's too because failing my HMT just indicates that I can't do Malay, so why put myself through the torture again? Okay la, I go ITE and become top student okay.

Just one more MCQ paper and I'll be free to screw up my life. Oh, did I tell you? I'm dying my hair red after O's. If you say that it's a minah colour, Imma let 369 slash you, since yknow they are in Bukit Panjang now anyway. In case you've forgotten, yes I live in Bukit Panjang dearies.

It's 9.21pm now and I really should be reading up SEAn History about how the Dutch exploited the Indonesian people for profits and how French Indo-China gained independence in 1945 but well, I've got business to tend to online. And guess what, to all the pathetic juniors who think I actually gaf : TAK HAIRAN AH BABE. YOUR LIFE I DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

On a lighter note, SS is over and I know it's still to early to party but I had a preview of what my life would be like after 12 Nov. Impromptu date with Eli, Sharianty and Kimbo and we crashed Kimbo's house to watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose which was more sad that scary, actually. Up all night, got demons to fight. Faileddddd study session and I ended up jumping into Kimbo's pool with my clothes on and Shar was v unlucky to get caught by the manbitch security guard. Decided to cook Mac & Cheese and since Shar and I needed to dry ourselves anyway, we walked to 7-11 dripping wet with towels on our heads.

No kidding, we walked to 7-11 like THAT, oblivious to the stares of random mats and minahs. Anyway, you should have tasted our Mac & Cheese, it was awesum possum + Nutella + gossip. I swear, impromptu dates always turn out the funnest.

And then.......... it's back to O Levels. Sigh.

OMG wait, today I just suddenly thought of a Chem pick-up line, on the spot :
